Coaching
Please consider offering your time and enthusiasm to coach your child's team. We are looking for good people to set a great example to our players. The KMBHL will gladly pair you up with a friend in order to make coaching easier, as long as it does not throw off the balance of our teams. We encourage up to four parents behind the bench to provide support to our players, so you'll be in good company.
Referee's
All of our Officials must attend a certification clinic and pass a written exam in order to officiate within the KMBHL. These clinics are offerend in either March or April every year prior to the start of the Season. Certification is valid for one year, and referee's are required to register annually. Upon sucessful completion of the clinic, our referee's receive a Rulebook, Manual and a Certification card. There is no cost to our Officials for the clinic, the KMBHL will pay for your course.
Officials with us last year should receive your new Application Form in February for this year. Please complete the forms ASAP and mail them back to the OBHA Office in Toronto.
Timekeepers
We are always looking for people with experience to operate the clocks at our games. Previous experience is necessary, reliable transportation required and basic knowledge of the rules of the game. Please email us if you are interested.
Sponsorship Application
New this year we're trying a process where our Sponsors are able to submit, and pay their Sponsorship fee on our website. The process is as secure as our Player registration.
We hope this will provide a more efficient means for local businesses to help support young players in our area.
